Terms of Service

By accessing or using DataPathsala (datapathsala.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses any part of the service.

DataPathsala provides coding practice problems, structured study plans, YouTube course links, interview preparation resources, and system design guides targeted at data engineers. The platform is free to use except for PySpark problem execution, which requires credits.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent any limitations or bans.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Credits are a virtual currency used to run PySpark problems. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts.

• Credits never expire after purchase.
• Refunds are available for unused credits purchased within the last 7 days. Contact us at manish@datapathsala.com with your payment details.
• Credits consumed through actual code execution are non-refundable.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
• We reserve the right to change credit pricing with 7 days' notice.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy problem content at scale
• Submit code designed to harm the execution infrastructure (e.g., fork bombs, infinite loops intentionally)
• Share or post solutions to hidden test cases publicly
• Impersonate other users or create fake reviews
• Use automated bots to submit solutions or farm credits
• Attempt to access other users' data or submission history

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund of unused credits.

All problem content, guides, system design materials, and platform code are owned by DataPathsala or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially use this content without written permission.

Code you write and submit remains your own. By submitting code, you grant us a limited license to execute it in our sandboxed environment for grading purposes.

The platform integrates with third-party services including Google (Sign in, Analytics, AdSense) and Razorpay. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

YouTube course links on the Courses page point to external content owned by the respective channel. We are not responsible for the availability or content of external YouTube videos.

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance, update content, change features, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

DataPathsala is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that practice problems will match exact interview questions at any company, or that using the platform will result in a job offer.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DataPathsala and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our maximum liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
